Hello, hello to all those Rafa fans out there!!! I hope you guys are excited over the new Rafa Marquez website as well as I am, of couse.
Well, to give a good start to this website, I will give all those hidden fun facts that not so many people know of our “Kaiser”…jeje here we go
- Rafael Márquez fluently speaks French, and understands Catalán…uhhh hot and smart
- Rafa’s childhood favorite painting was one that he created for his high school art class-and he accepts he had an obsession with it!
- Rafa’s tattoo on his abs signifies the names of his father, uncle , and cousin. As always, family’s first!!
- Rafa has two kids, Rafaela and Santiago Rafael…too much Rafael’s for me
- He was married to mexican actress Adriana Lavat for 4 years, but he divorced later in 2007.
- After many rumors of romance, Rafa is currently with mexican model and actress Jaydi Mitchell (dearly called “corn hairs”) and have been together for 3 years; don’t worry girls, he is not engaged to her.
- If (and only if) Rafa is the captain of the Mexican seleccion for the next World Cup, he is going to be the only captain in the soccer world to have participated as captain for three World Cups…up up Rafa!!
- Rafa likes to read lots of books-yep, lots of them. He has a whole library to his satisfaction. Wow, who would’ve thought that a popular soccer player could have his nerdy side
- Rafa has confessed an obsession-HE LIKES A LOT OF VIDEO GAMES! He all the video games available on the market…OMG!

Biography of Rafael Marquez

Son of former soccer player and nurse Rafael Márquez Álvarez was born 13 February 1979 in Zamora, Michoacán. He is a Mexican football centre back and defensive midfielder, who is currently playing for FC Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga and the Mexico national football team, where he is currently the captain.
